About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Engineer  to join our silicon development team. Your scope encompasses complete ownership of product compliance, manufacturability, testability, qualification, and yield optimization. Operating at the intersection of Design, Test, Quality, Operations, and Marketing, you will drive execution, mitigate technical risks, and ensure our space-grade FPGAs meet the zero-defect, high-reliability standards demanded by the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities
1. Pre-Tape-Out & Productization Strategy
Drive DFT/DFM methodologies early in the project lifecycle to guarantee high test coverage and manufacturing yield.
Architect the comprehensive New Product Introduction (NPI) resource roadmap, forecasting and managing requirements for prototype lots, wafers, split lots, hold material, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) capacity, and sample quantities.
Own the end-to-end characterization, test, and qualification plans. Establish rigorous technical reviews and schedules aligned with project milestones.
Lead cross-functional design reviews for all evaluation, characterization, burn-in, and load boards to ensure requirements coverage prior to silicon arrival.

2. Post-Tape-Out & Execution Leadership
Direct the hands-on execution of NPI activities, monitoring fab, assembly, and test houses, and thoroughly reviewing all resulting engineering data and reports.
Lead multidisciplinary root-cause analysis by collaborating with Test, Validation, Design, FAE, and Marketing teams to resolve complex silicon anomalies.
Serve as the final technical gatekeeper for product quality, driving production readiness milestones and ensuring seamless transition to mature production.
Monitor initial production yields and drive cost-reduction, test-time optimization, and yield-enhancement initiatives without compromising reliability standards.

3. Reliability & Space-Grade Qualification
Oversee destructive and non-destructive physical analysis, total ionizing dose, single-event latch up and single-event effects qualification campaigns tailored for space environments
Knowledge of the requirements to qualify electronic devices according to ESCC standards (ESCC22900 + ESCC25100) and MILSTD standards.
Define the radiation test strategy in collaboration with the product and R&D teams.
Interface with the radiation test facilities and space agencies to book slots in accordance with the product development agenda and ensure the required environment to develop and internal teams’ availability are in line with.

Qualifications
Education: Master's degree or equivalent in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 8+ years of hands-on semiconductor validation, test or product engineering experience. Experienced with space-grade high-reliability products is a strong asset.

Required Skills
Analytical Capability: Excellent analytical capability, data-driven, and able to synthesize information to lead a decision.
Risk Management: Skilled in identifying risks and performing thorough technical assessments.
Methodology: Demonstrate rigorous adherence to established processes while maintaining a pragmatic approach to driving continuous process evolution.
Reliability & Radiation: Reliability background and experience with radiation testing
Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-functional leadership, strong communication skills, and a rigorous, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English.

What we offer
Full-time & permanent contract (CDI) located in one of our 4 sites in Paris, Montpellier, Grenoble or Caen, depending on your location
Attractive salary according to your profile & experience + internal benefits
Attractive company savings plan with employer contributions
High-end health insurance
2 days remote work policy
5 weeks of paid vacation + 12 days of additional vacation a year

Very stimulating work environment, projects and especially teammates!

Embedded Systems

Bridging the gap between silicon and software, the Embedded Systems team designs the low-level tools that make NanoXplore’s FPGAs truly usable and powerful.

Their core mission : developing the main SDK (Software Development Kit), firmware, and all embedded components that enable seamless configuration, control, and integration of our devices. From bootloaders and drivers to board support packages and diagnostic tools, they ensure our chips speak the right language whether on a satellite, in a defense system, or in a test environment. Their work is foundational : without it, nothing runs.

What sets them apart is their ability to think system-wide. They work closely with hardware teams and application engineers, adapt to evolving specs, and support real-world use cases with reliability and reactivity.

They’re not just writing code : they’re building the ecosystem around our FPGAs.

Driven by curiosity and precision, it’s a team where autonomy meets collaboration, and where each line of code contributes to something bigger : making advanced microelectronics accessible and operational for the most demanding applications.
