ABOUT THE ROLE

NanoXplore is a pioneering French fabless company in the design and development of space-grade FPGA and e-FPGA solutions. With offices in Paris, Grenoble, and Montpellier, we are constantly looking to strengthen our teams.

NanoXplore is looking for an experienced Verification Tech Lead to support the ambitious growth of the business. Reporting to the Digital Manager within the R&D Directorate, you will be the central technical reference for all verification questions, while contributing to the mentoring and upskilling of the team.

YOUR MISSION

Technical Leadership & Team Management

  • Act as the technical reference for the IP and SoC Verification team; mentor engineers and drive their skills development.
  • Lead the Tools team in a continuous improvement objective for digital developments and methodologies, in close collaboration with other team leads and the Software team.
  • Define with management the resources needed to execute projects on time, on budget, and at the required quality level.

Design, Architecture & Verification

  • Contribute to defining the architecture and design of SoC FPGAs and IPs, in collaboration with HW/SW architects and other team leads.
  • Participate in architecture, design, verification, implementation, testability, and validation reviews for the SoC or IPs.
  • Collaborate with the digital design team to write design specifications and conduct cross-reviews (architecture, design, integration, verification plans).

Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Management

  • Ensure the team integrates physical implementation constraints from the architecture phase, in close collaboration with the Back-End team.
  • Contribute to DFT definition with the DFT team and to validation phase definition with the validation team.
  • Work with project managers to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives for products and project deliverables.

PERSONAL QUALITIES

Natural leadership and ability to unite a technical team around ambitious goals.

    • Rigour and organisational skills to manage multiple technical workstreams simultaneously.

Embedded Systems

Bridging the gap between silicon and software, the Embedded Systems team designs the low-level tools that make NanoXplore’s FPGAs truly usable and powerful.

Their core mission : developing the main SDK (Software Development Kit), firmware, and all embedded components that enable seamless configuration, control, and integration of our devices. From bootloaders and drivers to board support packages and diagnostic tools, they ensure our chips speak the right language whether on a satellite, in a defense system, or in a test environment. Their work is foundational : without it, nothing runs.

What sets them apart is their ability to think system-wide. They work closely with hardware teams and application engineers, adapt to evolving specs, and support real-world use cases with reliability and reactivity.

They’re not just writing code : they’re building the ecosystem around our FPGAs.

Driven by curiosity and precision, it’s a team where autonomy meets collaboration, and where each line of code contributes to something bigger : making advanced microelectronics accessible and operational for the most demanding applications.
