FPGA Application Engineer

En pleine expansion, NanoXplore est pionnière dans la conception et le développement de FPGA et de e-FPGA spatiales. Implantée à Paris et Montpellier, elle recherche constamment à renforcer ses équipes.

Aujourd’hui, NX recherche un(e) Chef de projet pour soutenir le développement ambitieux de l’activité.

Dans le cadre d’un CDI, en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe R&D, votre rôle sera de piloter, animer et organiser en mettant en oeuvre une méthodologie de gestion de projet.

ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES

Votre mission ? Pilotez la réussite de nos projets R&D.

Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec une équipe de chefs de projets, nos managers, et vous rapporterez à notre Directrice R&D.

MISSIONS

 Périmètre d’action : projets contractualisés internes & externes

 Animer et rédiger le plan projet

 Impulser la comitologie du projet

 Collecter et synthétiser les données pour reporter en interne et externe

 Contrôler et le suivre les actions relatives à l’avancement des projets

 Construire, suivre et mettre à jour un planning

 Piloter l’analyse des risques et opportunités

 Piloter le budget du projet

 Représenter l’entreprise face aux donneurs d’ordre

 Réponse aux appels d’offre : rédaction technique et administrative des dossiers en accord avec les différents services

 Vous avez un fort appétit technique et avez travaillé dans un milieu à forte composante technologique, de préférence dans le secteur des composants Soc, ASIC ou FPGA.

§ Féru d’innovation, vous maîtrisez parfaitement les outils et méthodes de gestion de projets et avez démontré votre capacité à animer et fédérer des équipes autour d’un objectif commun.

§ Outils de gestion de projet : MS Project, Office 365

Join us as a FPGA Application Engineer to strengthen our client-facing activities. You’ll be the technical point of contact for our customers, analyzing their requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth communication with our internal teams.

Your missions :
  • Support our clients by analyzing first-level requests
  • Quickly qualify the nature and priority of customer requests
  • Investigate reported malfunctions to identify their root causes, independently or with internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with Software, Hardware, and Commercial teams
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of responses delivered to customers
  • Track requests to guarantee timely follow-up and resolution
  • Contribute actively to customer satisfaction
  • Share customer feedback with internal teams to help improve service quality and processes
  • Draft, maintain, and improve support procedures
  • Document responses and actions to enrich the internal knowledge base

 

Profile
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering (Bac+5/+8)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or as an FPGA Engineer
  • Dynamic, motivated, and customer-focused
  • Strong interest in client relationship management and problem-solving
 
Job Summary

Engineering degree (Master’s level) in Electronics
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Ideally, prior experience in the space sector
Salary: based on profile

Embedded Systems

Bridging the gap between silicon and software, the Embedded Systems team designs the low-level tools that make NanoXplore’s FPGAs truly usable and powerful. 


Their core mission : developing the main SDK (Software Development Kit), firmware, and all embedded components that enable seamless configuration, control, and integration of our devices. From bootloaders and drivers to board support packages and diagnostic tools, they ensure our chips speak the right language whether on a satellite, in a defense system, or in a test environment. Their work is foundational : without it, nothing runs. 


What sets them apart is their ability to think system-wide. They work closely with hardware teams and application engineers, adapt to evolving specs, and support real-world use cases with reliability and reactivity.
